Mobile Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant. As a Principal Consultant,you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 12 years of Relevant Information Technology experience
• A highly experienced in Mobility with over 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Location for this position is Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area of work location. This position may require travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 15+ years of experience with Information Technology
• At least 12 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
• At least 10 years of experience in software development life cycle with good experience in Agile Development Model.
• 8+ years of experience in modern Mobile application architecture, solution design and implementation
• Deep knowledge of Web development practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Knowledge in Design Patterns.
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Ensuring a clear dependency chain, regarding the app logic as well as the file system
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules
• Thorough knowledge of prevailing and emerging mobile trends and technologies
• Experience to work in a lean and fast-paced environment where you invent, maintain and scale high-volume mobile applications. Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding UX/UI techniques and standards mobile apps and devices
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills with experience in collaborating and consulting with other engineers as well as organizational experts in various fields that are part of the organization.
• Solution oriented, highly motivated and proactive self-starter.
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
