Mobile Solution Architect

Currently, we are looking for a Mobile Solution Architect for a year-long contract to drive mobile app development, including the modernization of enterprise mobile applications, enhancement of mobile user experiences, and integration of modern personlization technologies into mobile platforms. This roles involves collaborating with business SMEs, business analysts and technical teams to conceptualize new solutions, recommend technical resources and strategies, and then design the solution for the project. Together with the architecture team you will help develop technology strategies, roadmaps, standards and guidelines.

If you join our team you will: 

• Translate the business needs into scalable designs with clear and definable technology requirements using the most appropriate technology
• Communicate your vision and designs to all stakeholders to achieve consensus on the approach
• Lead Responsive Frontend architecture, integration, and tuning for mobile/cellular subsystems across multiple mobility platforms 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Architecture, Engineering and Business teams within our client, in addition to working with external partners to ensure the delivery of best-practice solutions
• Work across a wide range of solutions including off-the-shelf applications, existing airline systems, integration platforms, data management and reporting, web & amp; mobile technologies and others
• Ensure mobile application security through threat modelling and secure development lifecycle practices and conduct code reviews and security assessments to implement solutions addressing any vulnerabilities in mobile environments
• Collaborate with teams to integrate mobile applications with enterprise systems, including digital asset management, content management, personalization engines, marketing campaign tools, and user identity tracking

What skills we expect you to have: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent formal training
• 10+ years of work experience in multiple technology disciplines, including lead or architect experience in a large-scale software development project, with a strong focus on front-end technologies for web and mobile application
• Hands on experience in mobile application development with a deep understanding of the iOS and Android ecosystems
• Ability to lead the design of enterprise-grade mobile applications for iOS and Android applying expertise in API design, and Backend for Frontend (BFF) to create scalable and maintainable mobile solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present technical ideas in a business-friendly language
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in team-oriented, agile environments and motivate peers
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to evaluate and implement effective solutions
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, in particular AWS tailored to web and mobile solutions 
• Experience with applying architecture in an agile/product-centric environment. E.g. SAFe 
• Knowledge of high-volume e-Commerce/retail and Services architectures related to web and mobile applications 
• Previous experience with Domain Driven Design architecture an advantage 
• Knowledge of airline systems is an advantage
