Dynamics of the Role
This position is responsible for the provisioning, asset management and operational support of mobile devices within a Global setting. The overall support includes end users' mobility onboarding, management of a mobile portal and working closely with mobile providers on provisioning of devices, billing and asset management. The position will maintain the scope of all mobile devices and supporting MDM toolsets. Position includes working with both company owned as well as BYOD devices utilized across a Global Environment. Included in this role's responsibility will be working with new associates as part of onboarding and returns of assets as part of mobile life cycle management. Additional responsibility includes rotational operational support shift within a hybrid work environment. This position will strive for continuous improvements within the domain to bring efficiency and consistency across a Global Footprint.
What You'll Bring:
How You Will Contribute o As a lead Mobility and Intune engineer, this role will focus on the Global Mobility platform across TransUnion regions. This role is part of the Engineering IT services team and will support all end Users Some of the tasks for this role will include o Provides both Mobile Engineering leadership and hands on design within the Mobility domain for both Corporate and BYOD Phones. o Management of the Intune platform, maintaining an MDM (Mobile Device Management) and MAM (Mobile Application Management) Policy that are distributed across all end user mobile devices. o A hands-on role within Mobility and Intune in the development process including design, and support of the end user mobile devices. o Provides technical leadership, hands on development by inspiring your teammates to think creatively as they deliver high quality software solutions. What You Will Bring • Extensive knowledge of enterprise mobility expense management tools (Mobility Central or similar) • Extensive knowledge of enterprise cellular carrier management including managing mobile spend, line and contract optimization, mobile device ordering, and device lifecycle management. • Experience managing enterprise mobility device management systems including Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager • Experience with mobile device troubleshooting and support, specifically Apple iOS • Maintaining asset inventory and accounting of end user mobile devices • Manage day to day engineering within mobility domain with emphasis placed on provisioning and maintaining asset inventory. • Familiar with mobile technologies, including MDM app deployments and Intune • Configuration of Intune and O365 for mobility capabilities • Ability to identify areas where mobility gaps exist and recommend supportable solutions • Create and maintain documentation as needed, including knowledge articles, technical documents, and training video We'd Prefer to See • Ability to document, maintain, and improve mobility processes • Ability to communicate effectively • Strong multi-taking skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment• Relevant Mobility Certifications • Ability to utilize End User Analytics and Monitoring Software • Experience with Intune MDM software for Mobility Management and End user device management • Experience maintaining asset management software and self-service portal for software deployment Knowledge: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience. • Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. • 3+ years' experience in provisioning IOS and Android Company owned and BYOD mobile devices. • 3+ years of experience in complex Mobile environment • Budget management, asset management and forecasting • Knowledge of M365 Platform and collaboration applications within mobile MDM environment • 3+ years working within mobile telecom provisioning platform Skills: • Exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills to work in a global team environment with a common goal • Highly organized individual • Expert understanding Mobile engineering and operations Doman • Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise architecture that includes M365, W365, Intune and SCCM. • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills
