Job Description
- Conceptualize and design model home interiors in line with the "Perry Homes" brand.
- Prepare preliminary and final budgets for model home designs.
- Select, purchase, coordinate, and maintain inventory necessary to create budgeted model home designs. "Inventory" includes: art work, furnishings, rugs, lamps, plants, floral arrangements, and a variety of other decorating accessories.
- Manage the set-up of model homes to make certain inventory is arranged in model homes in accordance with intended designs.
- Prepare, coordinate and complete schedules, records and paperwork as necessary to carry out job duties.
- Collaborate with other design team members on projects.
- Assist Manager and Director of Model Homes on projects.

Qualifications
- College degree in Interior Design or another design-related field required.
- Requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in a design-related field.
- Must be willing to travel locally and to other cities (to manage model home move-ins).
- Current, valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Availability
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Must be regularly available and willing to work at least full workdays from Monday through Friday and such other hours as the Company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.

The employee may rarely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include visual perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee typically works in an air conditioned office environment; however, on occasion, the employee must go outside the office and may be in non-air conditioned environments for short periods of time.
