Model Maker - Welder

Job Title: Model Maker Location: Lewisville, TX Schedule: Full-Time Overview: We are seeking a skilled Model Maker to join our team in Lewisville, TX. This role involves hands-on fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom models and components for manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have welding experience, a strong understanding of engineered drawings, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform MIG welding; must have and maintain a current welding helmet. • Read and interpret engineered drawings for accurate builds. • Safely operate tools such as table saws and radial arm saws. • Fabricate, assemble, and finish models and components according to specifications. • Learn and assist with powder coating processes as needed. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. • Work overtime on short notice when required to meet project deadlines. Qualifications: • Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience is required. • Ability to MIG weld (experience required). • Basic hand tools required; must provide own tools. • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Dependable transportation required. • Willingness to learn and expand skills, including powder coating.
