About the Job...

JOB SUMMARY: DSoft Technology is seeking a Modeling and Simulations Engineer (Mod/Sim) to support training and operations activities at the NSDC at Schriever SFB. This effort will increase capabilities for live, virtual, and constructive training as well as support wargame efforts. Mod/Sim of real-world engagements, training events, and mission planning operations play a key role in assisting the customer with understanding conducting operations within the space environment and assisting with the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Minimum 6 years’ experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: U.S. citizen and active Secret or Top-Secret clearance required, SCI Eligibility clearance desired. 

JOB TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Billings, Montana

SALARY RANGE: $120K to 145K, the estimate range represents the typical salary for the position commensurate with experience, knowledge and demonstrated success in the field and other factors.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Wargame model development.
• Develop courses of action for operational maneuvers and TTP development.
• Experience with space systems including DoD, national assets, and adversary systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

• Strong knowledge of Mod/Sim applications; specifically, Systems Tool Kit (STK)
• Strong knowledge of space operations, orbital mechanics, and the Space Domain Awareness mission.
• Strong knowledge of space operations, orbital mechanics, and the Space Domain Awareness mission.
• Advance knowledge of STK, MBSE, and SysML.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
