PRIMARY FUNCTION
Troy 7, Inc. is seeking a Modeling and Simulations Integration Engineer. In this position you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Modeling & Simulations Systems Capability Requirements and in intended uses in a Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirement System (DOORS) environment, including development, linking of requirements, and tracing to the GMD Digital Engineering Plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Build and Maintain DOORS specific tools for the GMD M&S team
- Develop and Maintain GMD M&S Program Plan
- Maintain /Develop M&S schedules including inputs to the GMD Integrated Master Schedule and cyber security relevant configuration changes
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Experience with Requirements Development and Management
- Fluency in the use of DOORs Requirements Management tool, RPE, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Model and Simulation, including related products such as specifications, datasets and modeling
- Ability to effectively participate and collaborate with functionally and geographically diverse teams of engineering professionals with differing perspectives, skills, and backgrounds
- Ability to communicate relevant, well organized, complex ideas to audiences at all levels; oral and written
- Ability to coordinate and implement the needs of internal and external customers while addressing all concerns
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and a minimum of 12 yrs.+ experience supporting the Major DoD Programs /or/
- Bachelor's degree and 20+ years' experience
- Active Secret Clearance
DESIRED Qualifications:
- General understanding of the MDA Systems Engineering practices and processes
- Knowledge of Rational Publishing Engine (RPE)
- Experience with Cameo Modeling Suite
- Experience with digital dashboard tools (i.e. Qlik)
