PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Troy 7, Inc. is looking for a Modeling & Simulation Advanced Engineer to join our team. In this role you will demonstrate and apply your expertise and knowledge of Modeling and Simulation development for Missile Defense.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supporting development of low, medium, and high fidelity modeling and simulation models for Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD).
- Coordination of engineering requirements, project schedules, and analysis of model performance.
- Facilitate working groups to enable program status, technical exchange, and to generate reports for the customer.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (if applicable):
The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Experience in modeling and simulation physical environments
- Experience in network accreditation process and risk mitigation
- Experience in requirements tracing aiding industry partners development with customer requirements
- Experience in analysis of verification and validation (V&V) evidence
- Demonstrated knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) to successfully develop and integrate modeling and simulation capabilities into system architectures
- Demonstrated knowledge in Ground-based Weapon Systems (GWS)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in STEM Field with 12+ years' experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience in Modeling & Simulation development
- Strong understanding of Modeling & Simulation tools
- Managing fast tempo projects with attention to detail and schedule
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefings, and preparing technical products
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations
- Demonstrated skill and experience in development of technical products
