Complete Description

As a Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing software and simulations to simulate the behavior of systems in real-time operations.

• Architect descriptive system models using UAFP, UPDM, SysML, and/or UML, utilizing MBSE tools to define interfaces, logical and physical structures.
• Support and actively engage in requirements development and functional allocation to hardware, software, operators, and other segments and components of ground-based radar systems.
• Support and collaborate across Engineering and Agile teams, leveraging and teaching MBSE techniques and best practices.
• Integrate and utilize advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
• Model operational environments, perform trade studies via computer simulation, and provide recommendations for alternative architectures.
• Conduct operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.
• Minimal travel required.

Requirements

• Experience developing system descriptive models using UAFP, UPDM, SysML, and/or UML
• Experience developing new and/or integrating existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models, and command and control model
• Experience with CAMEO Modeler or similar modeling tool
• Experience with scripting languages such as Apache Velocity Template Language (VTL) and Cameo AP
• Experience with ANSYS STK
• Familiar with basic principles and theory of electromagnetics and Radio Frequency (RF) propagation
• Experienced with the design, analysis, and architecture development of Radio Frequency (RF) systems
• Experienced with RF microwave system design, analysis, and test
• Experienced with ground-based radar system design, analysis, and test
• Familiarity or experience with Agile development methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
• Experience in Requirements Derivation, Traceability, and Management; DOORS or Equivalent Tool Experience
• Technical documentation and analysis experience; proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite
• Ability to travel up to 25%
