KBR is seeking a Modulation and Simulation Analyst to perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of current and future spaceborne reconnaissance systems on a Systems Engineering and Technical Analysis (SETA) contract supporting the customer's Systems Engineering Directorate. Modulation and Simulation Analyst
KBR is seeking a Modulation and Simulation Analyst to perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of current and future spaceborne reconnaissance systems on a Systems Engineering and Technical Analysis (SETA) contract supporting the customer's Systems Engineering Directorate. While your duties may fluctuate, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Executing software models to perform Monte Carlo simulations of alternative Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) collection architectures to evaluate relative performance
- Developing and maintaining custom built analysis software and scenarios, and integrate with commercial tools
- Teaming with customer to define analytical needs, develop study schedule, and present results to inform architecture and budget decisions
- Working with GEOINT and SIGINT subject matter experts to accurately model collection systems
- Helping implement Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering practices
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of relevant work experience
- Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
- Strong interpersonal communication and task management skills for regular interaction with the customer on technical and project management topics
- Experience with Python scientific libraries
- Experience with PostgreSQL (or other relational) database(s)
- Knowledge of Ansys Systems Toolkit (formerly AGI STK)
- Familiarity with US space based Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems
Desired Qualifications
- TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- Enterprise level or System of Systems mission performance modeling and simulation experience including data analysis
- Experience with Python PySim library
- Experience with Tableau data visualization
- Experience with Model-based systems engineering and UML/SysML/UAF
