Mold Shop Operations Manager Location:Greater Berks County Area Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivatedMold Shop Operations Managerto lead our mold shop operations. This role is responsible for managing personnel, equipment, and workflow to ensure timely mold repairs and support our blow molding and injection molding production. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical expertise, leadership experience, and a commitment to quality.Key Responsibilities • Oversee mold maintenance and repairs to support production and customer satisfaction. • Train and supervise Mold Shop personnel to ensure high performance and quality. • Manage equipment purchases, installations, and maintenance. • Coordinate with scheduling and logistics departments to prioritize and ship molds. • Maintain and update Mold Shop procedures and documentation. • Prepare monthly reports for the Accounting department. • Hire and evaluate staff, ensuring a productive and motivated team environment.Qualifications • Associate degree or higher in Machine Tool Technology or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mold shop operations. • At least 2 years of management experience preferred. • Strong mechanical background with experience in CNC and manual equipment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based tools. • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
