- This function faces counterparties (e.g., asset managers, municipalities) of Money Market transactions including CD and Commercial Papers. Day-to-day focus is on communicating and executing money market transactions with counterparties as well as resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes. Role at this level also supports customer onboarding process including Know Your Customer ("KYC").
- Communicate with money market counterparties (e.g., asset managers, municipalities, corporate customers), negotiate pricing and execute the transactions.
- Contribute to maintaining adequate liquidity position while managing the funding costs to achieve both stability and profitability of the bank's balance sheet.
- Responsible for the process of closing new facilities and amendments.
- Provide on-going monitoring and review of client compliance with existing transactions.
- Maintain up to date customer records in accordance with our Know Your Customer policy.
- Preparing and analyzing the investor report, portfolio report, and assisting in making recommendations on CP funding and investor relationship strategies.
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities include various miscellaneous projects as instructed by the group management.
- A minimum 2-3 years of experience in short term credit markets and have sufficient knowledge of commercial paper and related products.
- Experience in Bloomberg
- Experience in Know Your Customer ("KYC") process
- Above average MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and good presentation/communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter
- Ability to work with demands of a trading environment.
- Proactive sales attitude
