Job Overview

• The junior/mid/senior Database Developer is expected to perform research, design and development using PL/SQL.
• This position will adhere to established Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Architecture Design and Development Standards and Governance, where applicable, in facilitating innovative solutions that meet the specified requirements and add value to the business.
• Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement complex PL/SQL and quires.
• Develop database tables and dictionaries.
• Ensure data quality and integrity in databases. Optimize and maintain legacy systems.
• Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
• Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects.
• Troubleshoot database related issues when required.
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
• Gather user requirements and identify new features.
• Develop technical and training manuals.
• Provide data management support to users.
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.
• Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Expertise in SQL, PL-SQL,
• Experience working with Non structured DB experience specifically Mongo (must)
• Knowledge and experience(desired) with AWS services
• Strong in SQL with complex query
• Strong in PL/SQL, with to Oracle server database
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently

 MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Master/Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline and 4-6 years’ experience with PL/SQL, including database tools.

DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Exposure in Data modeling
• Exposure to Data warehouse architecture
• Java, Spring-boot, Rest APIs
