Position Overview:
Delight Elementary is seeking a dedicated and passionateLanguage Arts and Social Studies Teacherto teach students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate will embrace our blended education approach and inspire students in areas such as reading comprehension, creative writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
Key Responsibilities:
• TeachLanguage Arts and Social Studiesto students in grades K-5.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s educational philosophy.
• Foster a love for reading, writing, and social studies through interactive and hands-on learning experiences.
• Assess and grade student work, providingweekly feedbackto support academic growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Attend and participate inparent-teacher conferencesto discuss student progress.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning environment.
• Maintain anorganizedclassroom that promotes independent learning and engagement.
Qualifications:
• Teaching credential or a relevant degreein Education, English, History, or a related field.
• Experience working with childrenin an educational setting.
• Any Montessori experience or trainingis a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt instruction to individual student needs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Agood team playerwho works well in a collaborative teaching environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,200.00 - $65,851.00 per year
