Motion Graphics Artist

Responsibilities

• You will execute motion graphic designs or elements with oversight from the senior motion graphics design staff
• Deliver an expected level of ideas and/or different executions for any given project as assigned
• Work constructively with art directorial, editorial, account management, producers or other team members, as applicable
• Demonstrate knowledge and usage of a wide variety of typography
• Participate in project brainstorm / kickoff meetings and contribute unique creative concepts
• Understand and use appropriate templates, toolkits, and other standard motion graphic design projects either internally created or provided by clients
• As assigned, read scripts or watch screeners / available episodes for project understanding and inspiration

Requirements

• 3+ years Motion Graphics Design experience, preferably in the entertainment industry 
• Advanced level proficiency in After Effects
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Cinema 4D and Photoshop
• Intermediate to advanced 2D/3D skills
• Proven cinematic design sensibility and ability to make a visual connection to the project narrative
• Strong reel demonstrating creative design - animators need not apply

Typical working hours are 10am - 7pm PST. 

Salary Range

$75,000 - $100,00 USD

Rate offered will be dependent on factors such as one's qualifications, years of relevant experience and skillset.
