Motion Graphics Editor

Chainlink Labs is seeking a talented Motion Graphics Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sr. Video Manager and content team to elevate our storytelling efforts across various channels, particularly YouTube — to engage and expand our audience. As a Motion Graphics Editor, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling content, executing high-priority edits with quick turnaround times, and maintaining the highest quality brand standards. Objectives of this Role

• Produce visually captivating videos and animated explainers that elevate our look and feel and incorporate viral hooks to drive YouTube growth and generate viral hits.
• Execute high-fidelity edits for top priority videos, aiming to produce multiple short and long-form videos per month, enhancing our storytelling and engagement efforts.
• Ensure the maintenance of the highest quality brand standards across all video content in collaboration with the Design team and contributing to the enhancement of Chainlink's video presence and brand reputation.
• Document and share best practices for post-production, motion graphics editing, and file management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of advanced experience in editing short and long-form content, particularly on YouTube and X for major brands, ideally within the tech and developer-oriented sector.
• Expert knowledge of video editing, sound design, and color grading.
• Proficiency in After Effects CC, Adobe Premiere CC, and other Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.).
• Strong compositing skills including rotoscoping, typography, animation, and motion/camera tracking, within After Effects or comparable software.
• Exceptional work ethic, outstanding multi-tasking skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding creative environment.
• A collaborative self-starter, able to take direction and constructive feedback positively.
• A highly creative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities.
• A handle on good post-video ingesting and organization, as well as live-streaming tech.
• A continuous love of learning to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• A strong highlight reel that highlights your best work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agency experience and familiarity with blockchain technology.
• Experience working with external contractors and agencies in video production.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, accomplishing tasks resourcefully and with initiative.
• Proven ability to work across organizations and inspire others as a self-starter.
