What you will do

As a Joint Replacement Sales Representative, you work with a high degree of service, reliability and commitment to sell Stryker Joint Replacement sensor technology and software related products that meet our customers' needs.

You are responsible for becoming the resident Joint Replacement sensor technology and software expert as you work with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. You are driven to increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships while developing and implementing sales strategies. You exceed sales expectations day in and day out by building the current business to new heights.

Communication is key with your current and new customers. You are always motivated by helping to produce the best possible patient outcomes. Your knowledge not only of your own products, but of competitors' offerings, builds credibility with your customers. They trust you to provide advice and training on products and tools used to enhance lives. As a Joint Replacement Sales Representative, you live out your mission to change lives by selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years' experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable in various healthcare environments including the emergency room, operating room and clinic setting
  • Drive sales performance to deliver growth by closing complex sales transactions revolving around sensor technology and software solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.)
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with surgeons, hospital staff and local sales team in respective areas
  • Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization; build consensus to close new business
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales CRM tools
  • Be accountable for the entire value chain process (from pre-sales to post-sales) and cross-divisional relations to provide a superior customer experience
  • Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
  • In partnership with the customer and local sales team, develop and support implementation of sensor technology and software updates to raise awareness for digital solutions
  • Lead trainings designed to educate surgeons and their staff on sensor technology and software solutions
  • Together with the local sales teams, develop a customer specific multi-disciplinary plan to successfully complete on-boarding episodes, increase utilization of sensor technology with patients and develop follow-up sales opportunities
  • Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures

Travel Percentage: 60%
