- This position and any future selections from this announcement may be used to fill various shifts located within DLA Distribution Susquehanna in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state drivers license and certifications required by the installation, federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be able to obtain a PA Class-A Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) with air brake, passenger, hazardous and tanker endorsements.
Qualifications
The SOE and minimum qualifications for this position is:
- Ability to do the work of a Motor Vehicle Operator Leader without more than normal supervision (SOE): Perform the common tasks of the job to be filled but under close supervision, such as providing instructions, setting the pace for workers to accomplish priorities, interpreting standard operating procedures and referring to manuals as a means to answering questions.
Physical Effort:Moderate physical effort is required in operating vehicles. Moderate physical effort is required in loading and unloading and connecting vehicles. Occasionally handles objects weighing over 40 pounds.
Working Conditions: Subject to dust and fumes and normal traffic and weather hazards. Subject to injury loading and unloading trailer or from traffic accidents.

Drug-Free Workplace: The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy.
