This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work.

Job Summary

The Marketing Manager of the Campaign Marketing function will oversee the strategic development and execution of all Harley-Davidson global product campaigns for key motorcycle/parts & accessories/apparel & license categories. This role is responsible for delivering the holistic strategic execution of integrated global campaigns that deliver against a balance of business and brand objectives. This leader will deeply understand their categories and thoughtfully craft consumer-led initiatives to meet both business and consumer demand.

This role leads a small but mighty Marketing team that develops and delivers innovative, consumer-led global strategies that deliver our corporate objectives and inspire current and future consumers.

We are looking for a highly passionate, strategic thinker who can comfortably lead a strategy conversation as well as build a tactical plan and report back on performance. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who inspires and excites a team of passionate Marketing professionals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and managing executional strategy for product campaigns ensuring aligning between paid, earned and owned to deliver a global view that is activated regionally
  • Ability to create progressive views of campaigns across multiple channels, audiences, regions, countries and products. Experience with wholesale distribution and retail channels a plus.
  • Strong analytical abilities - ability to utilize data and insights to solve business problems and define key opportunities. Deep understanding of your key categories and campaign performance connectivity to drive business goals.
  • Strong creative capabilities - ability to utilize data, insights, brand opportunities and gut instinct to craft brand and retail strategy briefs that will connect with consumers to drive results
  • Understand and can build frameworks for building lead generation and nurturing, demand modeling, multi-touch attribution, and analytics in partnership with Data Driven Marketing
  • Collaborator - capability to partner with and interact/influence all levels of the organization
    • Partner with Consumer and Brand Marketing to develop customer-centric integrated marketing campaigns direct to consumer and through dealer network
    • Partners with Media to deliver on the strategic 'Jobs To Be Done' developed globally and executed regionally
    • Collaborate with the Email marketing team to nurture consumers through retention efforts
  • Leadership style that encourages collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork
  • Change leader - ability to adapt to changing conditions and identify creative solutions that add value
  • Develop strong, cross-functional relationships across Marketing, Product Development, Digital, Commercial and Regional Marketing teams
  • Manages budget for campaign production
  • Manages 1-2 direct reports
Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years related experience with a minimum of 1 year of people management experience
  • Firm understanding of business and financial concepts to determine the value of any potential investment in the initiatives pursued
  • Possesses impeccable facilitation, written and oral communication skills along with effective team leadership skills with a focus on developing and nurturing top talent
  • Demonstrates sound ability to lead, collaborate and gain results through influence of peers and senior leaders with a proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Embodies a strong sense of urgency in terms of both the prevention of issues and the timely and effective reaction to issues if they do emerge
  • Possesses a strong understanding of consumer mindset, consumer empathy, and dedication create evocative consumer marketing materials
  • 0-10% Travel

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
