One way we demonstrate this commitment is through the 2023 Motorola Solution ADVANCE HBCU Program. Our program provides an in-depth look into different career paths within the technology and telecommunications industry. This event is designed for students who are in their sophomore, junior, and senior year and attend a historically black college or university (HBCU). It also acts as a direct pipeline into Motorola Solutions’ dynamic roles across our global organization. 

Your Time Here Will Look Something Like This:

The Motorola Solutions ADVANCE program is a two-day immersive experience held on October 19-20, 2023, at Motorola Solutions Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

As a participant, you'll have the opportunity to network with students, learn about the future of work at Motorola Solutions, hear from senior leaders and recent graduates, and participate in a first round interview. 

What Will You Be Doing? 

• Learning about the Motorola Solutions products and services through an immersive innovation tour 

• Hearing from teams across the business about our customer-driven business decisions

• Interactive panel discussion with MSI employees that explore transitioning into the professional workforce

• Networking with fellow HBCU students from across the country, Motorola Solutions business leaders and Employer Resource Groups (ERGs)

• Enjoy a fun evening function that highlights Motorola Solutions company culture

Basic Requirements

We want to hear from you if...

• You are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently enrolled in a four-year Baccalaureate Degree program at an HBCU

• Have an expected graduation between Spring 2023-2025

• Have an interest in Business (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Mgt, etc.) or STEM ( All Engineering disciplines, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.) or want to explore the opportunities available within these industries

• Strong Academic performance required

• You are a U.S. Citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted US work authorization and will not require sponsorship
