Mould Shop Grade 1 Setter

What you'll do:

"Responsible for setting and optimising moulding machines to produce parts to the required Quality, and Organisational Standards whilst observing our ""I choose zero"" safety culture.
Organisation and effective deployment of manpower and resources within their control to ensure production efficiency in the Supervisor's absence."

Set and optimise Injection Moulding Machines, ensuring Safety and Quality checks are completed correctly.
Carry Out Statistical Process Control measurements where required.
Operate Injection Moulding Machines when required, ensuring Safety and Quality checks are completed correctly.
Carry Out Statistical Process Control measurements where required.
Adherence to Standard Operating Policies and Procedures, contributing to achievement of departmental goals and targets (OEE, DPPM, DOH. Inventory, 5S+ Score).

Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+,documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
Communicate problems affecting the role or responsibilities to Supervisor / Team Leader

Qualifications:

GCSEs; English, Maths, Science
At least 3 years Injection Moulding knowledge / experience
