Parsons' extensive experience in the cleared space, combined with your advanced technical knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. This position provides Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Systems Analyst/Engineer support to the MDA Stakeholder. This position manages Missile Defense System (MDS) models and simulations supporting development, evaluation, and Warfighter training. This position supports development of a cloud-based computing environment allowing the federation of those models and simulations into an integrated digital MDS representation onto a single computing system. This position provides Government Stakeholder support to manage the software applications, and infrastructure life-cycle processes. This work will involve problem research, solution development, and presenting these solutions on issues affecting the Government Stakeholder.

Job Description:
- Provide Systems Engineering expertise and knowledge
- Provide Prime Contractor proposal technical evaluation and analysis
- Assist with assessments of the adequacy of analysis and engineering solutions and assessments as project execution occurs.
- Support program reviews, milestone decisions, and other decision forums. Perform risk assessments when directed. Monitor performance of technical risks.
- Develop techniques to monitor integrated programs, plans, and schedules for adequacy
- Identify, analyze, and document system, design, interface, assessment, and validation/verification requirements to include risk assessments
- Support the development, review, and editing of system requirement documents, requirements verification and validation, method papers reviews, test case designing, and analysis for requirements closure
- Support execution of projects including cost, schedule, risk, manpower, and performance evaluations against agreed to baselines for assigned programs
- Support contracting processes and monitors contracting activities of executing agents. Advises leadership on progress and identifies significant issues and potential mitigation plans
- Collaborate across the MDA organization (including multinational exchanges)
- Present technical information to MDA Leadership at various levels
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering roles and responsibilities
- Familiarity with missile and/or interceptor weapon system components and performance
- Software requirements management proficiency
- Software process management and development proficiency
- Action Officer (AO) proficiency
- Demonstrated ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries
- Self-starter with willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Officeยฎ applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
- Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
- Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts
- Familiar with Agile and Lean software development principles
- Familiar with software development, verification and validation, and integration
- Familiar with modeling and simulation concepts
- Understand Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts
- Active Secret security clearance; ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret security clearance as required
