MSP Senior Level Engineer

We are looking for an MSP Senior Level Engineer who plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and systems for multiple clients at Red Cup IT, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation and Relationship Management:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and IT requirements.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to review IT performance, discuss upcoming projects, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

Technical Support and Issue Resolution:
• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing timely and effective resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues and ensure SLA compliance.
Solution Design and Implementation:
• Design and implement scalable and resilient IT solutions tailored to clients' specific needs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance client productivity and efficiency.
• Lead deployment projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to client operations.

Security and Compliance:
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect client data and infrastructure.
• Conduct security assessments and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending
remediation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for client environments, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth within the team.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles, blogs, and other educational materials to empower clients and enhance their self-service capabilities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support and engineering roles, with a focus on managed services.
• Proven expertise in network infrastructure, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Strong proficiency with industry-leading technologies and platforms, such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and AWS.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
