MSTR/ MicroStrategy - Architect - Singapore

MicroStrategy Architect 

We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in MicroStrategy architecture, data modeling, report development, and dashboard design. They will be responsible for defining the BI strategy, optimizing system performance, and guiding data-driven decision-making processes. 

You Will: 

Architect and design BI solutions using MicroStrategy tools. 

Develop, optimize, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and visualizations. 

Oversee the development of data models and ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. 

Lead performance tuning and system optimization efforts to ensure high availability and fast response times. 

Ensure the platform is scalable to meet the organization's growing needs, particularly in high-demand environments. 

Experience in MicroStrategy administration. 

Provide technical leadership in the adoption of new features and tools within the MicroStrategy ecosystem. 

Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance 

Other Requirements:

• Optional: Retail Domain Knowledge: Experience with the retail sector is a strong plus, including the ability to provide insights on customer behavior, product performance, and supply chain metrics. 
• Experience with integrating MicroStrategy with cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure) and advanced data solutions. 
• Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI. 
• Understanding of the latest trends in AI/ML and their integration into BI platforms. 
• Knowledge of software configuration management environments and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, TFS, Shell, PowerShell, Bitbucket. 
• Experience with Agile development methods in data-oriented projects  

Qualification:

• 8+ years of experience with MicroStrategy platform, including architecture, design, and implementation. 
• Strong experience with data modeling and ETL processes. 
• Expertise in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and cloud architecture. 
• Familiarity with retail analytics and KPIs is a plus. 
• Proven ability to manage projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across teams. 
• Strong communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
