Job Description Summary:

PayPal is seeking a SAP Security Analyst to join Finance and Analytical Services Team in Hyderabad. As a member of the FADS Interfaces team, the Analyst will be accountable for designing, building implementing, and supporting SAP Security on all SAP environments across the landscape. The individual will need to be strong in problem-solving, analytical, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be a collaborative team member. The Analyst will be responsible for providing domain expertise in their area to manage Finance application interfaces; work cross-functionally with Global Finance Operations, Global Finance Products, Global and local controllership, and other stakeholders; present findings and recommendations to senior-level/non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the subject matter expert on SAP Security.
• Leading projects by working with business partners to gather security requirements to design and build appropriate role-based security for the SAP environment. Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, make design decisions using SAP Security best practices. Document role, objects, and user access for auditing purposes.
• Creating, changing, and testing of security roles to ensure proper implementation and accuracy of roles.
• Updating user roles in a large system environment and addressing any user requests.
• Knowledge of HANA roles, privileges and schemas using HANA studio.
• Create policies, process improvements and procedures including, but not limited to, change control, project management methodology, and SOX controls. Accountable in the proper implementation of these policies, procedures, and controls.
• Participate and lead the remediation for Corporate Governance, Segregation of Duties, and Sarbanes-Oxley related projects and ongoing maintenance in these efforts in SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP GRC processes for ARA, ARM, and EAM. Knowledge of GRC10 and GRC12.

Required Skills include:

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience working in SAP Security
• Experience in S/4, SAP Bank Analyzer, SAP BPC, SAP BW, SAP ECC, SAP Gateway, SAP GRC, SAP SRM, BOBJ, HANA DB, SAC, Ariba
• Aptitude for troubleshooting issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
• Affinity for a high-performance, project-oriented work environment; ability to pivot to critical path tasks as necessary
• Team-oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
• Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• Strong technical/development background and proven ability to dig into technical details and manage deployments from end-to-end.
• Proven experience leading the design and implementation of application development programs and release management processes.
• Experience managing projects through the entire development life cycle, including support during pilot, rollout, and post-production.
• Strong business expertise, keen understanding of business needs, and ability to translate these needs into aggressive yet achievable roadmaps and delivery schedules.
• Proficient with release documentation and comfortable developing/using metrics to measure release success and identify efficiency improvement areas.
• Success in developing artifacts to support major software implementation projects with multiple stakeholders across several regions.
• Professional maturity combined with high energy and collaboration with other teams.
• Experience working in large, complex environments, with a specific focus on infrastructure and applications development.
• Proven ability to manage diverse, highly complex problems and ability to devise solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams and inter-related work streams, including collaboration across various organizations such as PMO, IT, QA, Release Management, and Finance operations
