The Opportunity

Nutanix is disrupting the multi-billion dollar cloud infrastructure market by pioneering the first hybrid cloud platform that can incrementally scale out to manage petabytes of data, while running tens of thousands of virtual machines. This brings about exciting new challenges in building a cloud scale distributed control plane that can serve a multitude of applications.

You will work on a variety of new, exciting projects that support the Licensing Platform at Nutanix. This includes both new licensing and feature consumption services that will determine when and how Nutanix users will use our software and services. This feature will be a core service to be leveraged by other Nutanix features, as well as by consumers.

The Licensing Platform Team at Nutanix is a group of 15 individuals located across the USA and India. Our team has successfully streamlined the licensing process and ensured compliance. Your Role

• Design and develop reliable, scalable, efficient, high performance control plane software for large scale enterprise and hybrid cloud.
• Design and develop features for the Nutanix manageability platform that interacts with Nutanix Core Services.
• Design and Implement a cloud scale API platform that makes it easy for developers to build, publish, execute and manage APIs at cloud scale.
• Contribute to the development of licensing applications.
• Create effective unit and integration tests.
• Ability to write scripts and tools for development and debugging.

What You Will Bring

• Experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Golang.
• You should be familiar with Spring Boot and other open-source frameworks and libraries.
• Experience in enterprise-scale REST API design and development
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V) and Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience working with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) is a plus.
• A Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science or related field, with up to 3 years of experience, is required.

How We Work

• Hybrid. Most of the team members work in the office two days a week. Work from home three days a week. We depend on Slack and Zoom for communications and meetings.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 92,800 and USD $ 184,800 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
