Full description We are seeking a highly skilled multi-axis CNC mill machinist to setup and run jobs on high speed vertical and horizontal mills. Our company primarily serves the aerospace industry. This position will challenge a machinist with multiple complex setups and runs each day. • Setup and run multiple 3, 4, and 5 axis mills using Grob, Toyoda, and Haas mills. • Regularly maintain conformity of +.0005” • Bring ideas to the table for continual improvements in machining practices • Qualified candidates will: Have a strong and comprehensive understanding of multi (3-4-5) CNC machining. Be familiar with Siemens and Fanuc controls. Understand the complexity and challenges that come with a job shop environment. Be able to utilize integrated probing systems as it applies to checking dimensions and finding offsets. Understand high efficiency tool path, shrink fit holders and specific cutters for different processes. A positive attitude, open mind, and willingness to take on new challenges are ABSOLUTE requirements for this position. This is NOT a programming position. The successful candidate will be running mills full-time. This position will be integral to our continued growth and direction towards more advanced CNC machinery and applications.
