Multi Media Account Executive

SALES + CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES

ADAMS PUBLISHING GROUP (APG) owns and operates over 130 community newspapers across the United States including the Post Register and East Idaho Classifieds in Idaho Falls.

We currently have positions open for entry level and experienced customer service and sales representatives. On the job training is available for the right individuals. These roles have a base salary or base hourly wage plus a commission or bonus. The more you help clients, the more you earn!

Responsibilities:

• Perform informal and formal needs assessments for each customer to recommend appropriate products and services.
• Develop a rapport with customers, demonstrating a friendly and helpful manner to put them at ease.
• Maintain a neat and clean professional appearance to represent a positive image of the company and its brand at all times.
• Participate in training and professional development and put new skills to immediate and meaningful use.
• Foster a positive and pleasant working relationship with other members of the team both in Idaho Falls and across the company.
• Familiarize yourself with current information about the company, services and products available for customers.
• Accurately record your activity, customer information, sales orders, and other information as required, digitally or in written form.

Qualifications:

• Reliability: able to commit to a 40 hour work week, be on time and ready to work daily Monday through Friday.
• Ability to cooperate with and support other members of customer service and sales team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic math skills.
• Willingness to interact daily with customers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds, assisting walk in customers as well as via outbound telephone calls and, as appropriate, in-person visits to client locations.
• Must be comfortable working independently and making minor decisions without direct supervision.
• Good sense of organization and keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of customer service best practices and desire to participate in trainings and professional development.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced working environment.
