Multi-trade Carpenter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be proficient in working with hand tools and construction materials. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial construction, restoration, and maintenance tasks. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Perform drywall installation and finishing to ensure smooth surfaces. • Execute construction painting tasks as needed for aesthetic finishes. • Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and seams for weatherproofing. • Assemble equipment, cabinetry, and other wooden structures according to specifications. • Work with siding materials to enhance the exterior of buildings. • Engage in concrete forming for foundations and other structural elements. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction or restoration industry. • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry work. • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to carpentry. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and plans accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods. • A valid driver's license and insurance is required for this job.
