Mutual Fund Senior Associate- Hybrid

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an experienced Operations Associate to join our Mutual Fund Operations team within our Global Technology Operations business. MFO is a cross-functional team that manages multiple functions including, but not limited to: Trading, Dividends, Corporate Actions, Sub Accounting and Vendor Relationships.

Individuals in this role must have the ability to maintain a good working relationship with our external Clearing Correspondents, external Mutual Fund Companies, Omnibus Vendors, Transfer Agents, and internal business partners. A successful candidate will be adaptable to change and work collaboratively with cross-location business partners.

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor and work with several types of external industry partners to process trade uploads, rejects, corrections, dividend payment reconciliations & net settlement processes.
• Perform various cash and stock reconciliations to analyze and resolve complex breaks.
• Research and resolve out of balances between client and Omnibus Vendors/Mutual Fund companies.
• Accurately process manual activity and adjustments under strict time constraints
• Collaborate with internal and external partners in delivery of timely and accurate information in response to inquiries and/or service issues.
• Effectively meet multiple deadlines throughout the day and prioritize risk related items.
• Analytical ability to learn, suggest process enhancements and effective controls.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and task oriented.
• Effectively manage and escalate business risk.

Qualifications:

• BA and 5+ years' experience in mutual fund operations or an equivalent of related education and experience
• Knowledge of mutual fund transfer agent operations and practices for supporting mutual funds
• Understanding of broker/dealer clearance and settlement processes for mutual funds
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with clients and investment partners over the phone and email communications.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage various tasks, be self-directed, and quickly develop a full understanding of our business.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with the Broadridge platform, systems would be a plus.
• Ability to work in an ethical, professional manner with a client-centric focus.
