We are looking for a Junior Web-Based Tool Development Engineer to join our Wireless Networks team. As part of team, you will get a chance to work with leading edge technology provided to our customers and develop tools to help manage and deliver critical content effectively to their commercial networks. Your creative and technological talents are showcased in creating tools and processes that are best in class for both internal and external customers. You will have end-to-end ownership for the web-based tools from the initial concepts through development, with the final reward being able to see the tool designs actually implemented and used by customers.

Specific responsibilities include:

• As a subject matter expert in the latest web-based tools, candidate will be responsible for providing inputs and helping to drive the long-term information content management tools strategy and goals.
• Development of professional quality web-based technical information and process tools for use by internal and external customers.
• Development of both small (short-term solutions) and large (long-term solutions) web based tools to make the group more efficient and effective for the customers.
• Drive the planning and implementation of content architecture, compliant with standards, across a suite of product information documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

Background & Competencies Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Web-based Development; Advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of Six (6) years of Industry experience within Web Content Management Space.
• Web-based development experience within Information Management and Customer engagement.
• Experience at translating customer and business requirements into technical requirements, specifications, and tangible product changes.
• High competency demonstrated with HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript and intermediate knowledge of T-SQL.
• Abilities to apply efficient HTML & CSS foundation formatting dynamically driven content via SQL commands.
• Experience in Centralpoint architecture and its underpinnings, web, and database technology.
• Efficient knowledge of MS Azure and its services to include architecture, networking, Linux, designing security and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in Infrastructure and Operations along with experience in cloud network infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with technical infrastructure design methodologies and datacenter architectures and automation.
• Experience building a cloud governance plan, setting best cloud practices and procedures.
• Abilities to work in any Linux environment (Radhat/Centos, Ubunutu, etc).
• Good understanding of Telecom technologies and processes.

The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects, sales and simultaneous performance objectives. Work independently in determining one's personal work schedule to be productive. Work in a team environment, in order to achieve personal and team project milestones and to complete assignments within established time frames. Accept tasks and problems/situations that differ, requiring creativity to search for optimal solutions, when only broad and general guidelines exist for solving problems. The ability to utilize implied knowledge of task alternatives and to make spontaneous decisions using past experience and the guidance and/or successful experiences of others. Demonstrated ability to interact at multiple levels within customers organizations. Negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer directors, managers and staff with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations. Make professional technical sales presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, to an audience of high technical skills, management and operational experience. Ability to achieve results within established time frames and requirements. Develop accurate proposals and designs to meet customer needs.

Physical/Mental Demands:

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC's, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.
