Graphic Design Specialist

What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Graphic Design Specialist within our NAF Strategic Marketing division. This position falls under our North American Fuel line of business and is a virtual position. In this role, you will assist in creatively executing our marketing campaigns under the guidance of the Creative Director. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is highly collaborative with the ability to think creatively, work efficiently, and communicate effectively while managing multiple, concurrent projects. As a Graphic Design Specialist, we expect the role to work on brands such as FleetCardsUSA, Fuelman, Comdata, Corpay One, and our partner brands. The position will report to the Creative Director and regularly collaborate with other subject matter experts across the organization, such as Brand and Product Marketing, Legal, Creative, Customer/Market Intelligence, Paid & Organic Social, Content & SEO, and Analytics teams. The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing various types of creative content for both digital and traditional mediums.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Understand the company's overall concept, including our brands, customers, product goals, and all other aspects of services
  • Conceptualize, design, and deliver compelling creative within tight deadlines while multitasking on various projects
  • Plan and execute new projects under the supervision of Creative Director
  • Build creative for new product launches, sales collateral, email campaigns, and more
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Study creative briefs and conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas using the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work with copywriters, vendors and creative director to produce final design as required
  • Deliver graphic design work on assigned projects: creative conception, sketching, design, feedback, iteration, and final delivery that are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Manage and adhere to strict timelines for the production of graphics
  • Navigate your own priorities and time on projects of various sizes from concept to completion
  • Manage and review design work from external agencies

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience at agencies, studios, or in-house
  • Strong understanding of steps necessary to take a project from concept to launch
  • Expert-level skill with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
  • Experience creating materials in a variety of formats, including web, email, and social
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate working well independently as well as with a team
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Willingness to quickly learn project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At FLEETCOR, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $65,000 - $80,000
