Partner with the best

As a Lead Buying/Procurement Specialist you will take ownership for the sourcing and buying process. You will provide support to cross-functional teams on a variety of projects. Using your knowledge of the market and vendors, you will build trusted relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

As a Buying/Procurement, you will be responsible for:

• Understanding project requirements, customer demands and align priorities with key stakeholders like sales, manufacturing, planning, engineering and quality.
• Scouting and quote potential suppliers for each project
• Developing suppliers together with Engineering and Quality
• Managing fulfillment and quality related to issues with suppliers
• Mange PO placement and follow up for execution as well as Ts&Cs negotiations and implementations.
• Project management of several suppliers to meet customer deadlines
• Managing assembly third party supplier for the delivery of final product to customers.
• Report out progress and issues to management and customers.
• Preparing action plan to mitigate eventual delays and quality misses from suppliers.
• Negotiating and execute LDs and charge back to suppliers.
• Key point of contact for the business regarding Direct Material sourcing in North America for other subjects where a local leadership is needed.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 Years of experience in sourcing and management.
• Able to lead programs / projects
• Able to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Have prior experience - hire, train, manage team
