The Elevator Pitch

Do you enjoy strategic account planning and developing account relationships with national accounts? Do you have a strong skillset in account plan development and business relationship management? Do you have a growth mindset and understanding of how to position disruptive technology?

Evolv is looking for a National Account Manager for Channel Sales to focus on our top national resellers. This role is critical to growing our market share and accelerating pipeline development, sales bookings, revenue creation and profitability with our national resellers. The national account manager will be responsible for increasing account growth by developing and executing against established playbooks and effective business relationship management.

Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

In the first 30 days, you will:

  • Formulate strategic account plans for the top 4-6 National resellers to include sales playbooks, use of MDF (Marketing Development Funds), operations and enablement plans, target account list development and regional/local relationship mapping
  • Be able to fully qualify opportunities and present full Evolv value proposition and competitive matrix
  • Have full understanding of Evolv products and able to demonstrate capabilities
  • Be able to articulate benefits of SaaS offering and Evolv Insights portal

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Have established account plans fully in place and being executed against
  • Have a business relationship matrix in place and operational between Evolv and national accounts
  • Have met with all key stakeholders within assigned accounts to ensure strategic alignment
  • Understand Evolv end to end channel processes

By the end of the first year, you will:

  • Have all assigned accounts operating from established playbooks/account plans
  • Increase pipeline through target account selection in vertical markets
  • Met or exceed all year-over-year sales and revenue growth targets for assigned accounts
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and partner accounts
  • Consistently improve account plans and update regional contact mapping and regional targets
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on top opportunities
  • Attend partner events
  • Act as main point of contact for all assigned accounts and ensure functional relationships are established where and when necessary
  • Successfully meet assigned targets for sales volume, performance objectives, and other mutually agreed upon goals to be reviewed in regular QBR’s
  • Drive adoption of company programs among assigned accounts

  • You will be joining the Revenue Organization and the Channel Sales team. This role reports to the VP of Channel Sales.

  • This role is remote and can be based anywhere in US.
