About the National Account Manager - AIG Warranty- HVAC Division role
The National Account Manager role will serve as the key client contact for Assigned HVAC Accounts. Reports to the Senior Director of HVAC Accounts in order to implement AIG's long-term strategy and identify areas of opportunity to drive revenue and profit generation for AIG and our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative strategy related to the growth and maintenance of existing HVAC clients.
- Establish good working relationships with our top clients, posturing self as trusted source of knowledge and innovation.
- Ensuring that proposed client agreements align with operational process capacity of AIG, and receive support from internal departments to ensure that the strategy and goals are delivered appropriately, including customer service, service dispatch, claims, finance, underwriting, and IT.
- Work closely with Senior Operations Manager and Support Staff to provide current market and industry trends and anticipated hurdles to ensure that forecasts and programs are aligned to remain competitive in complex conditions.
- Understand US market regulatory dynamics and competitive landscape to deliver innovative solutions.
- Performs other duties as required to support AIG and account growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
Skills/Requirements
- Knowledge of the HVAC and/or Warranty Industry will be heavily favored.
- Ability to analyze market and industry trends, and identify potential untapped areas of growth.
- Ability to review and prepare financial documents relating to account performance and goals.
- Skilled in sales approaches, and ability to foster authentic trust in client relationships.
- Skilled in negotiations, expectation setting, and delivering on promises.
- Ability to analyze account data and develop compelling narratives based on data. Data modelling skills a plus.
- Ability to develop materials and present in a highly-professional manner to executives and key stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes telecommunications and in-person presentations.
