Hearst Television is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented National Advertising Sales Account Executive to join our sales team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling linear TV, multicast station, and OTT advertising solutions for all Hearst Properties in the national ecosystem. This role will report to the Director of National Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing national business with the expectation to grow revenue and share
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decisions-makers at national agencies
- Conceptualize, create and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with HTV strategies
- Run point on maintenance of national order, with the help of the sales support team
- Meet or exceed sales revenue targets on a quarterly basis
- Continuously identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within the national marketplace
- Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, agency information, and agency platforms for handling business
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in national advertising sales, ideally in the media or broadcasting industry
- Established agency contact that can be leaned on from day one
- strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including linear TV, multicast stations, and OTT
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Work independently as part of a collaborative team
- Accountability within a goal-structured organization
- highly motivated, results driven, and customer-focused
- Understand and use of qualitative research to further sales efforts

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is bonus eligible.
