WSP USA is currently looking for a Sr. National Director - Education Programs for the PMCM National Business Line to identify project/program and construction management growth opportunities throughout K-12, higher education, and similar facilities construction programs with both new and existing clients. The individual selected for this role will help to drive the PMCM's business development US strategy and report directly to the PMCM National Business Line Executive. This position is ideally locally in Baltimore, MD but can sit out of any WSP office in the eastern US.

The individual selected for this role will help to drive the PMCM's business development US strategy and report directly to the PMCM National Business Line Executive. Your Impact
- Jointly develop, implement and execute a business development strategy that will exceed growth targets for the PMCM business
- Leverage client relationships across all markets sectors of WSP including: Property and Buildings (education, healthcare, data centers, commercial), Transportation (especially Aviation and Facilities work), Federal (USPS, GSA, etc), Water, Environment, and Energy.
- Identify growth opportunities through new and existing markets and clients and drive growth initiative implementation
- Identify priority pursuits and projects and manage a active involvement in all aspects of client development, pursuit development, teaming, and all aspects of capture planning including interview preparation
- Develop, maintain and grow relationships with strategic teaming partners
- Anticipate industry trends and position the firm to be at the forefront of technology through innovation and state-of-the art technology implementation
- Represent firm through involvement in client and industry events
- Create a culture of collaboration, working with the other NBL Leaders, Regional and Local Business leaders to develop strategies and tactical action plans and to deliver business development and client relations objectives
- Assist with recruiting of key staff and strategic hires tied to pipeline opportunities
- Conduct periodic meetings with Clients to develop client relationships, gathering of information for upcoming projects, and to assess the firm's performance on ongoing projects.
- Support delivery of specific projects and programs nationally towards the goal of growing the overall business
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or at least 20 years' experience working on and leading a diverse range of education/facilities projects and programs incl design management, program management, and construction management/administration.
- Ability to prepare and manage proposals and presentations to schedule and budget while working with clients and managers of various disciplines across the organization
- Affiliation with professional societies and active industry and community involvement highly desirable
- Must be willing and open to travel nationally
- The selected candidate MUST be able to work in the United States immediately, without sponsorship
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as Program Manager or Facilities Director for large public K-12 school systems managing bond/capital programs in excess of $500m in size.
