Job Description

The National Strategic Systems Manager is responsible for developing and administering training for BeMatrix systems with a focus on core products that cater to the needs of Shepard's customers.

In addition, this role will work closely with our in-house and on-site systems leadership teams and designers to manage BeMatrix inventory, introduce new extrusion types, establish SOPs, enhance designs, and streamline workflows.

Essential Job Duties

  • Control BeMatrix inventory and make all BeMatrix system purchasing decisions on behalf of the company
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Operations and National Operations Systems Director to create and implement BeMatrix training for on-site and in-house systems supervisors and the BeMatrix team
  • Create, implement, and maintain processes and SOPs for in-house and on-site systems supervisors
  • Attend essential events related to BeMatrix systems projects
  • Create comprehensive product information documents for sales staff and customers, providing quick reference facts to educate on BeMatrix products
  • Work with structural designers to establish efficiency for designs and assist with detailed projects as needed
  • Create process efficiencies for packing, storing, labeling, and handling of new types of extrusion styles
  • Monitor projects in Shepard's OLP to ensure each branch's adherence to all BeMatrix SOPs, best practices, quality control, and safety guidelines
  • Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in our Blue Diamond Customer Service Program
  • All other job duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner by making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company
  • Proven knowledge and experience working with BeMatrix Systems product line
  • Experience with CAD software systems
  • Excellent communication and math skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
