POSITION SUMMARY: The National Accounts Reporting Analyst creates and maintains reports for internal and external customers from multiple source systems. The National Accounts Reporting Analyst is responsible for understanding and operating a number of source systems, including but not limited to, Lawson Accounting, Infinium/AS400, Infopro, TRUX, CBS, TPH and HCMT. The National Accounts Reporting Analyst is also responsible for generating complete, accurate, timely and transparent reporting as required by management and or/customer.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides financial and report analysis and helps support ongoing operational initiatives.
  • Generates standard and ad-hoc reports, applying skill, judgment, and understanding of operational information and needs.
  • Demonstrate and utilizes a strong understanding of business metrics and data points in order to perform meaningful analyses.
  • Creates and then executes queries to download data using SQL from multiple source systems to create reports according to customer specifications.
  • Translates system data into scalable and easily understood solutions for external customers.
  • Analyzes, researches and reconciles complex data and/or issues for end users as required.
  • Organizes and manipulates large amounts of data for standard weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and yearly reports using various Company information systems.
  • Creates and designs custom reports when requested for appropriate internal and external customers.
  • Monitors and maintains regularly scheduled customer reports and submits to customers within required time frame.
  • Reviews customer reports monthly with National Account Managers to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Reviews, monitors and documents customer contract terms and conditions. Works in conjunction with National Account Managers to implement contractual obligations in a timely, accurate and transparent manner.
  • Manages and organizes data naming conventions and processes.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or similar business-related field.
  • Experience in iSeries Database Management.
  • Experience generating macros using Excel and/or SQL in order to streamline repetitive tasks or reporting as required by the management or customer.
  • Experience in a high volume or large corporate environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience manipulating data from various source systems using SQL.
