Responsibilities

This position is responsible for planning, directing, managing, and overseeing the people and operations of the organization. The CEO maintains relationships with the Board of Directors, NDIRF members, and with political subdivision associations to ensure insurance-related concerns are addressed to meet member needs and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or related field and 5+ years of upper management or executive leadership experience. Knowledge of the property/casualty insurance industry, and the ability to interpret and apply pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations are essential to this position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting at conferences and to legislative committees. The ability to lead teams, develop strong relationships with members, and work with legislators and state officials on NDIRF-related matters is crucial.
