About the Role

We are looking for individuals with career history in IT administering network and systems. As a Network Administrator at Anatomage, you will work to improve and support the company's IT infrastructure. You will also provide technical support to all levels of faculty. You will be an integral part of the IT team, ensuring the smooth operation of network devices, and resolving any issues that arise.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of relevant experience in managing IT systems and user support for SMB. This person must have strong communication and problem solving skills as they will be working with different levels in a fast-paced organization.

This is a full-time on-site position that reports to our Santa Clara, CA office Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do

• Work on projects to improve the IT infrastructure
• Ensure network compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Monitor network performance to ensure network availability to all system users
• Monitor and maintain security systems including surveillance, access control, and other monitoring and reporting systems
• Monitor and maintain data backup system
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on all network computer systems
• Maintain network security through appropriate access controls, backups, and firewall policies
• Manage security measures to detect and prevent system interruptions and breaches
• Manage IT inventory
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in computer and network technologies
• Document all technical procedures and user guides
• Provide technical support and assistance to users of the network
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills and Abilities Required

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
• Solid understanding of network protocols, topologies, and infrastructure
• Experience with network management tools and software
• Familiarity with network security practices and procedure
• Solid experience with enterprise switches and Firewalls
• Basic experience with administering Windows domain network
• Basic experience with cloud computing such as AWS or Azure
• Basic experience with Linux and Mac OS
• Basic experience with web servers such as IIS, Apache
• Basic experience with VoIP systems
• Basic experience Hyper-v and Vmware
• Basic experience with Endpoint protection solutions
• Basic experience with OS deployment
• Basic experience with server hardware and OS
• Basic experience with backup systems/software
• Basic experience with storage systems and technologies
• Basic experience with email environments such as Office 365, Google Workspace
• Experience with adminstering data center

Minimum Education and Experience Required

• Minimum Associates Degree in network / system administration or related fields
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in network administration or related fields

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) preferred
• Cloud infrastructure certifications preferred (AWS, GOOGLE, AZURE)
• Microsoft Certified System Engineer or Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry computer equipment
