Candidate must reside in DE, or be willing to relocate to a service area state (MD, PA) within commutable distance to DE

What you'll be working on...
- Providing delivery support for the Network infrastructure, including Cisco Routing and Switching, Wireless, and Security Appliances.
- Working with the Network Manager to ensure Services meet all aspects of the business needs.
- Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
- Reviewing and monitoring internet service billings; communicate with major ISP service providers to resolve billing errors and discrepancies.
- Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating on network optimization.
- Liaising with vendors and other internal personnel ensuring service levels are met and problem resolution processes are defined and adhered to.
- Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects
- Managed Service Delivery management, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Request Management
- Execution of network, telephone and other delivery projects
- Job incumbent is expected to make day-to-day operational decisions based on company policy in conjunction with department standard operating procedures and requirements.
- Position requires daily contact with internal customers, primarily via telephone and email. The incumbent will be the liaison between IT and department customers for applications and service and must have planning and relational skills associated with those tasks.
- The dynamic nature of the IT goals will require growth of all skills and technologies, which will require the incumbent to continue in parallel with these goals
Who you are
- Minimum of 3-5 Years' networking experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor's Degree in an IT related program or related area or 3-5 years of corporate experience in a similar position.
- CISCO CCNA or similar certification or 3-5 years experience maintaining and implementing CISCO routing and switching.
- Strong knowledge of CISCO IOS commands and protocols.
- PaloAlto PCNSA, PCNSE preferred, or similar experience.
- Voice or Security certifications a plus.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11x, QoS).
- Proficiency with Cisco equipment, including the IOS, Meraki, platforms.
- Experience in network monitoring and performance solutions (OpManager preferred).
- Experience with Cisco ASAs management and security best practices.
- Experience creating documentation for all levels of understanding.
- Ability to make decisions logically by using problem-solving and analytical/strategic thinking.
- Ability to support a large interstate, multi-user environment.
- Commitment to continuous development and continuing education.
- General knowledge of operating systems (Windows).
- 3-5 years experience working with virtual networking, Azure preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with regard to procedures and workflow.
- Understanding and experience of Service Management frameworks and delivery.
- Experience working with a project team and on projects.
- Excellent communication (both verbal & written) and customer service skills.
- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet.
- A responsible driving record.

- The position operates within certain professional boundaries as dictated by the industry. In addition to those boundaries, operation within the guidelines set forth by the Company's mission statement will also be followed.
- Hybrid-remote environment, with weekly travel as needed to the Newark or Dover, DE office location.
