Merit Medical is looking for a Network Administrator to join our team of IT Professionals. We are looking for someone that cares about the differences between UDP and TCP. That understands there is no place like 127.0.0.1. Someone that can wireless connect with others and troubleshoot issues. A Network hero that can tame any switch, while not interrupting business communication.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT A DAY COULD BE LIKE IF YOU DARE TO ENTER THE MERIT ARENA
- Work with other IT staff to troubleshoot issues for employees
- Support remote IT staff with their network questions
- Maintain ticket queue for the network team
- Able to configure and implement Cisco switches in our campus and in the datacenters
- Troubleshoot Cisco/Aruba wireless issues
- Updates hardware firmware
- Troubleshoot copper cables and fiber cables
- Update network documentation
- Project work, that could include
- Moving to modern protocols
- Updating network closets with new hardware
- Evaluating new solutions that could improve network efficiencies
WHAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE SHOULD YOU HAVE IF YOU WANT TO APPLY?
- Between 2 to 4 years in a role as a network administrator
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience and market value
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent on the job experience
- You have made a mistake that broke the network
- Then quickly fixed it
- Network certifications
- Being in an on-call rotation

Infectious Control Risk Category III:
The risk category explains whether employees are likely to meet blood or body fluids while performing their jobs. Risk category III states employment and procedures that may require exposure.
