About the position:

As a Network Administrator, you will:

• Design and implement local and wide area networks (wired and wireless).
• Configure Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, VoIP equipment, etc.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner, keeping downtime to an absolute minimum.
• Provide day-to-day care, maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of local and wide area networks, internet, etc.
• Keep abreast of innovation in state-of-the-art networks/systems techniques.
• Communicate/work with senior and executive staff as needed.
• Spend periods of time in wiring closets - sometimes in dirty conditions.
• Occasionally travel to support multiple sites across the US.
• Perform related work as assigned.

About the schedule:

This position offers a hybrid schedule after the training period.

About you:

• At least 2 years of related experience is required

It would be great if you had:

• In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking systems and equipment with an emphasis on, routing protocols (like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, VPNs, QoS, ASA, Nexus, ISE, Prime, Aps and VoIP.
• Fortinet Shop experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree or related certification (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Project management experience.
• Good knowledge of MS AD and MS network functions and tools as well as local and internet DNS management and network monitoring.

About the total compensation package:

Salary - Salaries ranging from $56,800 - $97,900 per year, depending on the candidate's experience

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or related certification is preferred.
