About this Role:

• Proactively plan, implement, and manage network infrastructure to achieve high levels of performance, availability, and security for the enterprise.
• Proactively plan, implement, and manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, access, and detection systems.
• Monitor network and security systems for potential vulnerabilities or intrusion attempts by bad actors or malware.
• Develop and maintain procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, security, and disaster recovery following industry best practices.
• Manage corporate communication systems including email, telephone, and fax systems ensuring availability, compliance, and performance.
• Recommend, schedule, and complete backups, repairs, and upgrades of network equipment to ensure availability and recoverability of network infrastructure.
• Administration of Windows network infrastructure including management of server and endpoint configuration.
• Administration of Azure virtual networks and Azure AD Identity Management.
• Administration of domain name hosting and TLS/SSL certificates.
• Provide escalated support of service desk incidents and service requests.
• Work collaboratively with outside IT Services vendors and contractors that partner with Accra.
• Be an engaged member of the IT team – assisting with other IT functions as assigned and required.

About You:

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in a related IT field with 3 years of relevant IT experience, or a 2-year associated degree in a related IT field with 5-7 years of relevant IT experience.
• At least 3 years of the experience needs to be related to IT Network or Systems Administration experience in a corporate environment.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtual network management.
• Must possess experience in managing of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and related technologies (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy).
• Must possess strong technical understanding of corporate networks including LANs, WANs, VLANs, DNS, and Firewall policies.
• Working understanding of modern/next generation network hardware (virtual and physical) including switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Working understanding of DNS web filtering.
• Working understanding of Security Standards (CIS/NIST).
• Experience handling network security issues including the monitoring and maintenance of security applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communications, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem resolution skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strict adherence to company confidentiality and ethical standards.

 Desired Additional Skills:

• Industry certification such as Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Administrator, etc.
• Experience in installation and administration of Cisco and HPE networking hardware.
• Experience in customer service and support using a service desk ticketing software.
• Understanding of Microsoft’s cloud server technology stack, leading to proficiency in the following: Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure Web Services including Azure virtual networks, Azure Active Directory including Azure AD Identity Management.
