Network Administrator

AmpThink is a rapidly expanding technology company providing infrastructure services to clients in sports and entertainment, commercial real estate, and warehousing. We focus exclusively on large scale projects. We are seeking an ambitious entry level network professional with a broad set of networking and helpdesk experience combined with an outgoing personality suited to providing exceptional customer service, solving problems, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.

Responsibilities

The primary role of the Network Administrator will be to work both internal and external trouble tickets while working with other team members and reporting to the team lead. This involves a balance of self-discipline, technical acumen, an eagerness to learn and willingness to stick with a problem and see it through to completion.
Tickets will vary in complexity and range from assisting with networking outages and server issues to internal software configuration requests and more. Additional tasks include repairing / replacing office equipment, managing servers, configuring switches, and assisting with other various tasks around the office.

Requirements

We are seeking a Network Administrator to support our internal IT infrastructure and the management of our client facing applications. The successful candidate will be expected to address a wide range of technology that include:

• Lenovo servers, desktops, workstations, and laptops
• Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, and access points
• HP (Aruba) switches and access points
• Apple Mac Books
• Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Server platforms
• Microsoft Office 365
• Ring Central cloud based telephone system
• HP printers and plotters
• Hardware encryption
• Network/Server monitoring software; Solar Winds, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Aruba Airwave, PRTG
