Network Administrator

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for Network Administrators with various experience levels, from Junior to Journeyman. Network Administrators will work on a collaborative team to monitor the network stability and performance in order to maintain continual organizational operations. This role includes performing initial triage and troubleshooting for network and systems issues. The successful candidate will document the steps taken through the troubleshooting process and escalate to the appropriate service support groups. The position will be located in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia Area and require an active security clearance. Level of security clearance required will be commensurate on years of experience, with a minimum of a Secret clearance and going up to TS/SCI level.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in network administration
• Applicable experience in monitoring Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) health and performance, and server health, event logs and performance counters
• Experience updating and maintaining System Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation
• Experience opening and tracking service tickets with Wide Area Network (WAN) circuit vendors
• Previous experience in performing troubleshooting and problem resolution on WAN
• Knowledge of ISDN, ATM and SONET
• Experience working with various types of network infrastructure tools and equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, and Forerunner
• Experience with network analysis tools including Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Identity Service Engine, Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager, and Science Logic SL1
• US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or TS/SCI security clearance

• Knowledge of DEA system security requirements
