Job Description
You’ll join Xplor Technologies Network Engineering team — the team that provides the support and expertise for designing global wan, remote access, and solving various network related issues.Â
At Xplor, the Central Technology Team has one main purpose: to enable and complement the business strategies and goals while solving real problems for our customers and users. We have dozens of applications in our everyday-life verticals that all have their technology uniqueness and their individual purpose. We also use some of the latest technology in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Containers and are constantly looking to find innovative new ways to meet the challenges of running a unique global business.
Reporting into our Network Engineering Manager, you will be part of a small team supporting all Network Requirements across the business, often working closely with the Delivery and Product teams (developers, QA, analysts) and with a heavy focus on the infrastructure and SaaS products hosted in On Premise Datacenters, Azure and AWS. Further, you will:
- Analyzing network errors or anomalies, as well as specific network performance issues and/or error messages, in order to ensure maximum uptime and service quality and assess trends that may ultimately result in degradation of service
- Configuration of routing protocols to ensure high availability of publicly accessible servicesÂ
- Formulating and implementing monitoring, policies, procedures and standards relating to network management
- Experience working with Infrastructure configuration automation with Postman, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Troubleshooting API and other system issues at a per-packet level via packet trace and Wireshark analysis, including the troubleshooting of 3rd party data integration services and/or other Web-enabled solutions
- Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation on a periodic basis; this requires functional knowledge of all Xplor Technologies network devices, domain controllers, VPN and subsystems outside of the networking layer in order to provide on-call support
- Knowledge surrounding load balancing of various protocols and high availability mechanisms such as VRRP, HSRP, GLBP.
- Management and understanding of Zero Trust Network Principles, PKI,NAC and configuration of various authentication mechanisms(802.1x, SAML, RADIUS, LDAP)Â
Qualifications
- Associates degree in computer science, Networking, or related field.
- More than 2 year work experience as a networking engineer or similar position
- knowledge of network systems including Cisco, PaloAlto, and Azure Networking.
- Cisco CCNA, Azure, AWS or other, Network+
- The ability to perform in a distributed team covering shift basis

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $40,000-$60,000 USD
May be considered for a discretionary bonusÂ
