Job Description:As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's secure and reliable network infrastructure. This hybrid position allows for 80% remote work and 20% on-premise presence. You will be responsible for administering networks to ensure they meet the organization's needs for functionality, performance, security, data integrity, and availability. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying technology concepts to a diverse audience. Additionally, excellent customer service skills are required to establish and maintain positive working relationships with IS customers and peers.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the organization's network infrastructure to ensure functionality, performance, security, data integrity, and availability.
• Collaborate with the team to support a secure and reliable network environment.
• Communicate technology concepts effectively to a varied audience, both orally and in writing.
• Provide excellent customer service to establish and maintain positive relationships with IS customers and peers.
• Troubleshoot network issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network administration.

Education Qualifications:

*Strong preference given to candidates in Duluth, MN, Fargo, ND, and Chicago, IL*

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and

1 year of demonstrated experience as a network professional, or similar position in a technology environment.

OR

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and

Minimum of three years demonstrated experience as a network professional, or similar position in a technology environment.

OR

5 years’ experience as a network professional or similar position supporting a medium to large organization
