Network Architect

Job Description

Seeking Network Architect with 8 years of experience as a Network Architect to provide network design and architecture support on existing projects. Develop a strategic architecture plan that aligns with the business goals and technological capabilities. Recommend scalable, sustainable and secure technology solutions to drive business value. Facilitate the adoption of architectural best practices and frameworks and identify areas for improvement.

Key deliverables:• Project Architecture Support

Immediate work on existing projects in need of network architecture support. • Architecture Plan & Execution

A Strategic Network Architecture Plan, including a roadmap, implementation guidelines, and investment priorities for ongoing and new initiatives. Work with the appropriate stakeholders to come up with an execution strategy and consult as needed during various stages of the implementation. • Architecture Assessment Report

Documenting findings from the current architecture assessment detailing the current state, gaps, and recommendations for improvement. • Target Architecture Document

Detailed documentation of the target architecture, including models and diagrams. • Roadmap and Implementation Plan

A comprehensive plan outlining the phased implementation of the target network architecture.

Candidate Experience• Demonstrated expertise in network architecture within enterprise environments.• Proven track record in designing and deploying large-scale network infrastructures.• Extensive experience across various IT domains including Network, Security, Infrastructure, Applications, and Data.• Possession of relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent.• Leadership skills to guide and mentor others• Ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business & IT (Infrastructure, Development, Operations, security & Data teams)• Understanding of business processes and adeptness in aligning network solutions with business objectives sustainably.• Experience in developing network architecture models reflective of organizational strategies and goals.• Analytical prowess to assess and recommend appropriate networking technologies, tools, and frameworks.• Problem-solving skills to tackle networking challenges and enhance existing network infrastructures efficiently.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders• Analytical skills to understand the business process and evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks and work with the execution teams• Problem-solving abilities to address architectural challenges and optimize existing systems.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
